Patrick CAULFIELD Interior: Morning (Framed)  (1971)

An original screenprint in colours on wove paper from the Interiors series (Morning, Noon, Evening and Night). Signed Patrick Caulfied in pencil and numbered from the small limited edition of 100. Printed at Kelpra Studios, London with their stamp to the reverse, and published by Leslie Waddington Prints, London. Referenced in Cristea Patrick Caulfield: The Complete Prints 1964-1999, 18.

In very good condition with fresh, bright colours a couple of very shallow creases in the image only visible in raking light (just visible in the last image opposite). The print has been examined out of the frame and is complete with printed text to lower sheet edge giving title, (mis-spelt) artist name, date and 'trim to edge of margins' instructions.  Framed and mounted in a grey metalic frame to conservation standards and ready to hang. With labels for the Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh and the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh to the reverse. Size including frame: 90cm x 77cm.

With only a few previous auction records that we can find, this interior scene is an exceedingly rare and beautiful print by this ever popular British artist.
