The rare original colour lithograph on BFK Rives wove paper, printed before the posters, for the Olympische Spiele Munchen 1972. Hand signed by David Hockney lower right in pencil, dated 1970, and numbered from the limited edition of 200. Published by Editions Olympia, Munich. In very good/excellent condition with full, clean margins and strong bright colours, one tiny smudge at the right sheet edge which looks to be printing ink. A large, striking and extremely sought after hand-signed lithograph for the Olympic poster by Britain's most bankable artist.
