Salvador DALI Figure Rouge  (1975)
Figure Rouge avec portait de Quevedo from the 1975 suite Visions de Quevedo. An original drypoint etching in colours with pochoir (hand colouring) on Arches wove paper with deckled edges (other editions were printed on Japon and Richard de Bas paper). Clearly hand signed Dali in pencil lower right, an un-numbered artist's proof aside from the limited edition of 300. Published by Jean Paul Loup and Galerie Börjeson, Malmö. Printed by Ateliers Rigal, Paris. Referenced in Field 75-5-C, 103 and Michler-Lopsinger, 771. Plate size: 515mm x 365mm.
Condition: Some noticeable staining to the paper particularly lower right (see detailed images opposite, the price adjusted accordingly), light signs of handling throughout, a 1cm tear to the left margin, otherwise in very good condition with lovely bold red colouring and will frame up beautifully. A particularly rare and beautiful signed print from one of our very favourite series by one of the World's best-known masters of Surrealism.
