David HOCKNEY Two Red Chairs, March 1986  (1986)
From the March, 1986 series of 'homemade' prints, a print in four colours on Arches laid text paper, executed on an office copy (Xerox) machine. Signed David Hockney in pencil, dated '86, and numbered from the very small limited edition of 44 with DH stamp. Image size: 210mm x 276mm. Referenced in Hockney's Catalogue Raisonee published by Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, 298. With La Louver, California original gallery label, probably from their exhibition of Homemade prints 1986/1987
In very good condition. Small but perfectly formed, a once in a lifetime chance to buy this exceedingly beautiful and rare work (we can't find any other auction sales or record of this print online) by arguably Britain's most bankable artist
Available with or without the (probably original) frame which we rather like! It's in good condition with the odd tiny ding here and there
