Signed SW Hayter in pencil, dated 1953, and numbered from the limited edition of 200.  Printed by the artist at Atelier 17 and published by L'Oeuvre Gravée, Zurich. Image Size: 382 x 320mm. In good condition for age with noticeable rippling to the paper (most noticeable in raking light and on the reverse, but  will frame up well.

A bright and bold impression with strong colours (often faded on other copies we've seen). There were various 'states' of printing so colours varied slightly throughout the edition, this being one of the more colourful results. A rare and highly desirable signed Stanley William Hayter etching.
