An original colour lithograph on wove paper. Signed Dali in pencil lower right and numbered from the limited edition of 300. Published by Orangerie-Verlag, Cologne, with their blindstamp. Printed by Draeger Mattieu and Jean Schneider, Basel. Referenced in Field, 155, Michler & Lopsinger, 129 and Sahli 13.
Normandie later became a SNCF French railway poster, with text added, and was subsequently made into a number of larger editions on lighter paper with some signed in pen. From the first edition, this is an extremely rare and collectable lithograph by Salvador Dali - the absolute master of Surrealism. In very good condition with strong, bright colours.
